Why Is It Important To Get A License?

According to the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), flying drones in South Africa is permissible. However, there are specific regulations in place to ensure the proper management of drone operations.
To operate a drone for professional or commercial purposes, it is mandatory to possess a valid remote drone license approved by the CAA. Additionally, an approval letter allowing the operation of the drone is required.
